The Congress is the supreme body of IUSY. It determines policies and ensures their implementation within the framework of the Declaration of Principles and these Statutes, which it can change. It controls the work of other IUSY bodies. And discusses the financial report.

The Congress convenes once every 2 years, takes place in the first half of the year, and must be convoked by the Presidium three months in advance. The Presidium proposes an agenda for the Congress.

This time it will take place in hybrid format 22-25 June 2023 in Panama City and will touch upon the topic “THE RISE OF POPULISM AND EXTREMISM: A DEMOCRATIC CHALLENGE”
